Lucille M. (Stephens) Casaus, 82, of South Elgin, formerly of Effingham, died Friday afternoon, Jan. 7, 2011, at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Elgin.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Effingham, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Ms. Casaus was born May 27, 1928, in Champaign County, the daughter of Roscoe and Clara (Tegenkamp) Stephens Sr. She married Henry S. Casaus Feb. 11, 1962, and he preceded her in death in 2000.
Lucille was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Effingham.
Lucille is survived by her son, Stephen (Michelle) of Gilberts; grandchildren, Ian and Colin; and sister, Annabelle Kelnstin of Irving, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and six brothers, Woodrow, Richard, Charles "Bud," Roscoe Jr., Daniel and Robert.
