Loneus E. Heitman's Obituary
Loneus E. Heitman, 89 of Louisville, passed away at 7:23 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Arborcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time, at the funeral home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to donor's choice.
Loneus was born May 10, 1923 in rural Mason, the son of Henry and Lydia (Nadler) Heitman. He married Ruth V. (Schmidt) on April 28, 1946 and she preceded him in death in 1998.
Loneus is survived by his five sons, Roger (Gina) of Mason, Dale (Judi) of Watson, Alan, Eric and Lyle, all of Louisville; three daughters, Elaine (Ray) Ewing of Warrensburg, Joanne (Jeff) Cotrupe of Oceanside, CA and Karen (Jim) McMahon of Flora; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild survive.
Loneus was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; two sisters, Alverda Soltwedel and infant sister.
