Kenneth "Moose" L. Mccoy's Obituary
Kenneth L. "Moose" McCoy, 62, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2012 at his home in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012 at First Christian Church in Effingham with entombment in Arborcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2012 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. www.bauerfh.com.
Kenneth was born May 10, 1950 in Gamaliel, Kentucky, the son of Bedford and Lucille (Thomas) McCoy. He married Wanda L. Stiffler on September 27, 1968 and she survives. Kenneth worked in maintenance for 40 years at Fedders Corporation.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Wanda of Effingham; two sons, Kenneth L. McCoy, Jr. and Jeff McCoy, both of Effingham; two daughters, Penny Korner of Port St. Lucie, FL and Terri McCoy (fiancé, Josh Ashbaugh) of Noble; one sister, Bonnie Pontious of Effingham; special friends, Doug and Nancy Dial of Effingham, Tammy and William Carlock of Cowden and George Lutz of Effingham; six grandchildren and one great grandson.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Danielle Bauman.
