Kenneth J. Buening's Obituary
Kenneth J. Buening, 69, of Effingham, passed away at 12:15 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Wednesday morning at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Kenneth's family requests donations be given to A.R.C. in Teutopolis. www.bauerfh.com
Kenneth was born May 12, 1942 in Effingham, the son of Joseph and Cecelia (Mihlbachler) Buening. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham and a long time employee at A.R.C. in Teutopolis.
He is survived by one brother, James (Ruth) Buening of Effingham; three sisters, Rita (Kenneth) Tucker, Judy (David) Gardewine and Carol (Tom) Rohr, all of Effingham; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.
