Kathleen A. Luckett's Obituary
Kathleen Ann Luckett, 77 of Chesterfield, MO, formerly of Effingham, passed away at 3:09 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Mercy Heart Hospital in St. Louis.
Kathleen was born June 25, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late John Finn McCarthy and the late Catherine Gels McCarthy and the sister of Jack McCarthy of Cincinnati, Ohio. She married Austin Luckett, Jr. of Nashville, TN, on December 27, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1999. Michael Luckett, her grandson, also preceded her in death in 1993.
Kathleen is survived by her children: Lauri Tanner of Chesterfield, MO; A.J. (Linda) Luckett of New Lenox, IL; Susan (Christopher) Brown of Eden Prairie, MN; John (Laura) Luckett, of Keller, TX; and Matthew (Renee) Luckett of Anchorage, AK. She has 13 grandchildren: Patrick, Emily, Rachael, Austin IV, Madison, Bailey, Mac, Gatlin, Gibson, Garrison, Gentry, Arwyn, and Alaina.
Her wishes were to be cremated with a private family service that will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital in St. Louis in honor of Kathleen.
