Kathie E. Adams-Sapp, 49, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at her home in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice.

Kathie was born January 10, 1970 in Effingham, the daughter of Jimmy and Jeannie (Wright) Winchester. She married Phillip W. Sapp on July 26, 2003 and he survives.

Kathie is also survived by her children, Garrett Adams of Effingham, Heather Jones of Effingham, Malissa Sapp of Effingham, Katie Sapp of Green Castle, IN, Britany (Ryan) Spence of Effingham and Jared Sapp of Effingham; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; father, Jim Winchester of Effingham; brother, David Winchester of Tustin, CA and sister, Leslie Winchester of Effingham; along with many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother; children, Keegan and Kilēē Sapp; one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
