Joyce D. Connours, 72, passed away at 2:39 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at her home in rural Effingham.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Joyce was born February 12, 1944 in rural St. Peter, the daughter of Victor and Laurene (Meyer) Hollman. She married Jack Connours on February 14, 1971 and he preceded her in death in 2009. Joyce retired after 48 years as a waitress, to care for her grandchildren. Joyce attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Effingham.
She is survived by her son, Curtis (Kelli) Connours of Effingham and sister, Vickie Darling of Effingham; six grandchildren, Seth, Jason, Brittany, Daniel, Kaitlen and Jack; nieces, Sasha, Kayla and Alli.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband and three infant children.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
