Joseph P. "Joe" Esker, 67 of Effingham, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 at Effingham Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, April 17, 2023 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to the time of service, Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the donor's choice.

Joe was born December 21, 1955, the son of Adolph and Agnes (Mersman) Esker. He is survived by his wife, Kathy E. (Watson) Esker, and his sister, Melinda (Tom) Brockett, both of Effingham; son, Daniel, and daughter, Christina.
