Joseph L. Bertiaux, 41, passed away Friday morning, March 9, 2018 at his home in Teutopolis.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to time of service, Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Joseph was born July 24, 1976 in Streator, the son of Larry and Denise (Simpson) Bertiaux. He was employed by Stevens Industries in Teutopolis for several years. Joseph is survived by his wife, Erin of Teutopolis, whom he married on September 28, 2016; daughter, Paige Haynes of Ottawa; son, Justin of Streator; granddaughter, Rosilynn Storage; mother, Denise Stokes of Brownstown; sister, Hope Campbell of Brownstown; brother, Jeremy Bertiaux of Effingham; step-brother, Richard Stokes of Effingham; step-sister, Tammy Rueda of Joliet and step-children; Seth Rankin of Teutopolis and Savannah Rankin of Streator.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father and son, Cody Delehanty.
