Joe Dale Burk, 60 of Effingham, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, January 22, 2024 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to the time of service, Monday at the funeral home.

Joe was born May 30, 1963 in Robinson, the son of Ray W. and Anna M. (Clouse) Burk.

Joe is survived by his son, Kyle of Taunton, MA; mother, Anna of Effingham; brothers, Johnny (Margaret) of Dalton, GA and Jack of Lone Jack, MO; sisters, Barbara Mayhew of Effingham and Nancy (Jim) Reed of Springville, UT; many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Joe was preceded in death by his father and brother, Justin T. Burk.
