Jessica Nicole Thompson, 29 of Effingham, passed away at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Jessica was born January 3, 1986 in Richmond, VA, the daughter of Steven W. and Linda Marie (Meadows) Thompson.
She is survived by her two sons, Mark and Gauge, both at home; mother, Marie (Steve) Hardiek of Effingham; brother, Steven Thompson II of Cumberland, VA and step-sister, Andrea Hardiek of LaBlanc, LA.
Jessica was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and step-brother, Christopher Hardiek.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
