Jeanne Huelsbusch, 83, passed away at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at her home in Effingham, surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the St. Anthony Parish Hall. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony Schools or Church.

Jeanne was born October 16, 1930 in Effingham, the daughter of Clarence and Myrtle (Stephens) Thies. She married William R. "Bill" Huelsbusch on May 23, 1959 and he survives. Jeanne was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Bill of Effingham; son, Chris (Carmen) of Effingham; daughter, Sherri (Tom) Rhodes of Effingham and sister, Mary Ann Brooks of Effingham; six grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Huelsbusch of Charleston, Jacob Huelsbusch of Effingham, Ryan Huelsbusch of Effingham, Lindsay Rhodes of Effingham, Alex Rhodes of Carbondale and Landon Rhodes of Effingham; two grand-dogs, Maddie and Abby.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant daughters, Mary Jean and Ann; brother, Jack Thies; infant brother, Robert and infant sister, Ann.
