James S. "Junior" Miller, 70 of rural Altamont, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

A graveside service, open to all, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Watson Cemetery, Watson.

Junior was born March 18, 1953 in Dayton, OH, the son of JR and Frances Miller.

Junior is survived by his son, Sam (Amber) Miller of Altamont; granddaughters, Avery and Addie Miller; brother, Chris (Kolleen)

Miller of Wyoming; sisters, Donna (David) Cotterman of Ohio, and Debbie Aldora of Effingham: and several nieces and nephews.
