Jack B. Hardiek, 53, passed away at 4:32 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at his home in Teutopolis after a long battle with cancer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. The Covid-19 guidelines regarding social distancing and face coverings will be followed for all services. Memorial donations may be given to Fear Nothing and Teutopolis Sports Backers.

Jack was born November 16, 1966 in Effingham, the son of Donald and Loretta (Niemerg) Hardiek. He married Karla Koester on July 6, 1996. Jack was a member of St. Francis Church and was a Fourth Degree member of the Teutopolis Knights of Columbus Council #2874.

Jack is survived by his wife, Karla of Teutopolis; children, Jarrett, Josh, Julia and Justin, all of Teutopolis; father, Donald of Bishop Creek; brother, William (Theresa), Bruce (Janet), Tim (Cheryl); sisters, Ruth (Dan) Dust and Sharon (Mark) Westendorf.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta.
