Iris A. Martin's Obituary
Iris A. Martin, 91, passed away at 12:41 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2014 at her daughter's home in Dieterich.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Effingham with burial in Oakridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services, Thursday morning at the church. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Iris was born May 13, 1923 in Cowden, the daughter of Elihu and Grace (Riley) Blickem. She married Curtis Martin and he preceded her in death in 1999.
Iris is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Loy of Dieterich; two grandsons, David and Jeffrey, both of Dieterich and brother, Robert Blickem of Cowden.
Iris was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Michael Ray; four sisters and six brothers.
