Henry F. Langhorst, 77, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at his daughter's home in Effingham, surrounded by his family.
A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham, with burial being held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Henry was born February 29, 1940 in Effingham, the son of Joseph and Matilda (Drees) Langhorst. He married Ruth Adams, and she preceded him in death in 1982.
Henry is survived by his son, Steve (special friend, Donna) of Effingham; daughter, Sandy (Guy) Yaw-Armstrong of Effingham; 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
