Helen A. Thoele's Obituary
Helen A. Thoele, 78, of Effingham, passed away peacefully at 3:20 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2011 at her home in Teutopolis.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the church with a 6:00 p.m. parish prayer service. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. www.bauerfh.com
Helen was born May 23, 1933 in Effingham, the daughter of Harry and Emma (Willenborg) Stalling. She married Robert J. "Bob" Thoele on August 20, 1955.
She was a member of the St. Francis parish, St. Francis Council of Catholic Women and the Holy Name Society.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; three sons, Tim (Deb), Doug and Rod (Deb) all of Teutopolis; four daughters, Lisa (Jerry) Heuerman of Teutopolis, Deb (Dale) Ruholl of Teutopolis, Karla (Dan) Repking of Effingham, Brenda (Paul) Speltz of Rolling Stone, MN; two sisters, Kay Griggs of Chicago and Marilyn Stalling of Effingham; 22 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harry.
