Harold H. "Butch" Esker, 96 of Teutopolis, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Best Care in Punta Gorda, Florida.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with inurnment in the St. Francis Columbarium.

Butch was born March 19, 1928 in Teutopolis, the son of Benjamin and Anna (Nuxoll) Esker. He worked as a loan officer in the banking industry for many years. Butch was a long-time member of the St. Francis Church and was a fourth-degree member of the Teutopolis Knights of Columbus.

Butch is survived by his sons, Sid (Kathy) Esker and Scott (Jenna) Esker; granddaughters, Lorelei and Amanda; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and three sisters.
