Harland J. "Harley" Neville, 58 of Altamont, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Christ's Church in Effingham with burial in Arborcrest Memorial Park at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to the time of service, Friday at the church. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are in the care of Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham.

Harley was born May 23, 1967 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Harland "Harley" Suit and Karen Ann (Neville) Johansen. He approached life with a deep love for adventure, especially his passion for Harley motorcycles. Harley spent years working with precision and dedication as a skilled millwright welder; some of those years at Walt Disney World. More than anything, he treasured the moments spent with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories full of laughter and joy.

Harley is survived by his children, Casey (Chris) Tappendorf of Altamont, Samantha Neville of Charleston, and Harley Jr. of Mattoon; grandchildren, Everley, Brooks, Camdyn, and Jaiden Tappendorf; siblings, Caren Alex, Mara Crawford, Therese Johansen, Coleen McClure, Harley Suit and Bill Suit.

Harley was preceded in death by his parents.
