Gregory Allen Lilley, 62 of Effingham, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon.

Private family services will be held with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Greg was born January 13, 1959 in Effingham, the son of Melvin and Luella (Bueker) Lilley. He married Irene F. (McWhorter) Baker on May 24, 2013. Greg was the owner and operator of Lilley Land Improvement for 37 years.

Greg is survived by his wife, Irene; daughters, Jennifer Lilley, Jennifer (Brad) Russell and Julie (Travis) Kruger; brothers, Garl (Mary Lou) Lilley and Doug Lilley; sisters, Mary Ann Wines, Joyce Deters, Jane Lilley, Trish Miller, Gale James and Betty Lilley; grandchildren, Brianna, Aaron, Kelsie, Kaitlyn, Alexander and Kara; great-granddaughter, Avery, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joshua Baker and brother-in-law, Jerod Miller.
