Gregory T. "Greg" Thompson's Obituary
Gregory T. "Greg" Thompson 41 of Edgewood passed away Tuesday evening at H.S.H.S. St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 28, 2016 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for Greg's children. On line condolences may be left at www.bauerfh.com.
Greg was born May, 1, 1975 in Sikeston Mo, the son of Thomas D. Thompson and Patsy L. (Oxford) Bartels. He married Rhiannon Arnold. Greg was a self-employed mechanic.
Greg is survived by his sons Trevor and Masen both at home; parents Patsy and Jim Bartels of Effingham; brother David Thompson of Patton Mo; sister Brittany Dowell of Effingham; grandmother Ella Trousdale of Patton Mo; 2 step-sisters Miranda Vortman, of Bluffs and Jennifer Sporleder, of Farina. Greg is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Greg was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
