Grace L. Schuetz, 85 of Effingham, passed away at 3:36 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to the donor's choice. Grace was born November 15, 1929 in Walsh, the daughter of Boniface and Grace (Ragsdale) Link. She married Leland Schuetz on August 4, 1948 and he survives. Grace was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham.

Grace is survived by her husband, Leland of Effingham; son, Dennis (Lydia) of Palacios, Texas; two daughters, JoAnn (Paul) McDaniels and Bonnie (Steve) Kruse, both of Effingham; sister, Laura (Ed) Coop of Walsh; four grandsons, Lee (Nancy) Schuetz, Steve Kruse, Aaron McDaniels and Jonathan Kruse; two great-grandchildren, Annabelle Kruse and Liam Kruse.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Ann; three brothers, Orville (infant), Robert and Roger; four sisters, Virginia, Delorus, Fern and Bonnie.
