Gerald F. Funneman's Obituary
Gerald F. Funneman, 65 of Teutopolis, passed away at 9:32 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with visitation beginning two hours prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the donor's choice. www.bauerfh.com
Gerald was born March 5, 1947 in Effingham, the son of Ambrose and Mary (Jansen) Funneman. He was a Teamster and worked for Advance Transportation for 19 years.
Gerald is survived by his three sons, Travis (Vicki) of Effingham, Matt and Mitch, both of Teutopolis; three brothers, Ken (Peggy), Frank (Cathy) and Dennis (Marilee), all of Teutopolis; two granddaughters, Shelby and Chloe; four sisters, Jean (Roy) Campbell and Rose Kingery, both of Effingham, Linda (David) Young of Sigel and Dolores (Pete) Wilmarth of Frisco, TX; brother-in-law, Mark Smith of Teutopolis; twenty nieces and nephews also survive.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marita Connelly and Marilyn Smith; brother-in-law, Jerry Kingery.
