Genevieve L. "Jenny" Schniederjon, 90, of Effingham, passed away at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at her home in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. untill 12:30 p.m. Monday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Hospice of Lincolnland. Jenny was born September 29, 1921 in Sigel, the daughter of George and Vera (Bruns) Sehi. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic church in Effingham, the St. Anthony Council of Catholic Women, and the Effingham American Legion Auxiliary. She married Frank H. Schniederjon on August 10, 1940 and he preceded her in death in 2010.

Jenny is survived by a daughter: Nila (husband Rocky) Weber of Effingham; 5 grandchildren: Audra (husband Bob) Schultz and Frank L. Schniederjon both of Effingham, Cindy (husband Jeff) Windau of Edwardsville, Jenny (husband Greg) Billhartz of St. Louis, Missouri and Matt (wife Tracey) Weber of Glen Carbon; 12 great-grandchildren: Christopher Schultz, Emmie Schultz, Frank G. Schniederjon, Nicole Schniederjon, August Windau, George Windau, Sydney Weber, Carson Weber; Grace Billhartz, Liam Billhartz and Evan Billhartz. Also surviving are a brother: William Sehi of Montrose, and a sister: Pauline Hardiek of Teutopolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Frank G., and three brothers: Ray, Bob, and Carl Sehi.
