Gary H. Parker, 82 of Effingham, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 15, 2018 at HSHS St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service, Monday morning at the funeral home. Gary was born July 1, 1935, the son of Harmon J. and Melba E. (Rogers) Parker. He served in Korea from 1955 to 1958 with the United States Army. Gary was a comptroller for JMS Seed in Dieterich for several years.

Gary is survived by his wife of 26 years, Martha (Perez) of Effingham; sons, Timothy (Linda) of Salina, Kansas and Thomas (Jama) of Effingham; daughter, Lisa (Kyle) Lansford of Missouri City, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald.
