Francis A. "Frank" Koeberlein Jr., 54 of St. Elmo, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham.

Frank was born May 29, 1968 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of LeeAnn Campbell and Francis Koeberlein, Sr.  Most recently, he was a semi-truck driver for an agricultural company.

When not working on restoring the Koeberlein family farmhouse, Frank loved spending time with his grandchildren and his four dachshunds.  He loved riding his dirt bike and enjoyed days at motocross tracks.  He could fix anything from a house or a car, while also being able to grill a mean steak.

He is survived by his wife LaDonna of St. Elmo; sister Kelly Koeberlein Robertson (husband Jeff) of St. Charles, MO; daughter, Ragen Riddle of Moweaqua; son, George Riddle (wife Emily) of Altamont; daughter, Alexis Summers of Vandalia; daughter, Natasha Stephens; daughter, Cassandra Vomacka; grandchildren Kenzie Pirtle, Kolson Kay, Keaton Kay, and George Riddle, Jr.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Timothy.
