A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Sigel with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025 at St. Michael's Church. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's School. Evelyn was born on October 26, 1939, to Aloysius and Josephine (Dust) Repking. On May 7, 1960, she married the love of her life, Ronald Probst. Together they shared 65 beautiful years of marriage, building a strong and loving family rooted in faith, resilience, and unwavering devotion. She took great pride in working beside her husband, Ron, on their dairy farm for 45 years.

Evelyn's life was a testament to hard work, kindness, quiet strength, and unconditional love. She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a proud grandmother, and a cherished great-grandmother. She leaves behind her husband and six children who loved her immensely: Donna (Jeff) Dust, Dean (Barb) Probst, Dianna (Dave) Tegeler, Cheryl (Andy) Rauch, Amy (Tom) Moran, and Lisa Uthell. Her legacy also lives on in her 19 adored grandchildren; Matt (Holly) Dust, Jessica (Adam) Weber, Mitchell (Lexi) Dust, Jaccob Dust, Brooke (Rodney) Hille, Ashley (Clint) Charters, Courtney Probst, Kelli (Ben) Wells, Jason Tegeler, Travis (Kendra) Tegeler, Brittany (Kirk) Miller, Seth (Amanda) Rauch, Abbie (Reece) Ade, Megan Moran, Ross Moran, Tony (Kelsey) Uthell, Emily Uthell, Jennifer Uthell, Eric Uthell, and 21 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.  She is also survived by her sisters Bernice (Norbert) Lohman, Margie (John) Asbury, Wilma (Joe) Beckman, Mary Jane Bierman, and Betty (Tom) Pals and sister-in-law Pauline Repking.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Aloysius and Josephine; brothers Vernon (Mike) Repking, Louis Repking; sisters Luella Bushur, Louise Deters, Lorraine Zerrusen and Sr. Ruth Ann Repking; her son, Dwayne and daughter, Jane; and her granddaughter, Jamee Dust. Evelyn's heart bore these losses with grace and faith, continuing to care for those around her with compassion and quiet dignity.

Evelyn will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love she poured into every life she touched. She spent many hours babysitting for grandkids, great-grandkids, and neighbor kids, earning the title, "baby whisperer".  Her endless bucket of candy was a favorite of anyone who visited, and it was most often that all kids would find a Dum-Dum sucker in her purse. She loved a house full of family enjoying a table full of home-cooked food. Her family finds comfort in all these memories they shared with her and in knowing she is now reunited with those she held dear.
