Eunice A. Lidy, 98 of Dieterich, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at HSHS St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Private family services will be held with burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Bishop Creek. Memorial donations may be given to the St. Aloysius Cemetery Fund.

Eunice was born September 4, 1922 in Crete, the daughter of Rudolph and Hilda (Koelling) Pokey. She married Leo B. Lidy on November 8, 1938 and he preceded her in death on August 10, 1987. Eunice was a member of St. Isidore Parish in rural Dieterich and had worked many years at the Garment Factory in Teutopolis. She loved to be around family and friends and enjoyed working with her many flowers and took pride in her yard.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Lidy, Gary (Marri) Lidy and Bruce (Cindy) Lidy; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Bill) Funneman; brother, Wayne (Wanda) Bushue; sister-in-law, Doris Pokey, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Lorraine; brothers, Wilber, Vernon and Norman Pokey; step-father, Joseph Bushue and step-brother, Everett Bushue.
