Eugene L. Wolf's Obituary
Eugene L. "Gene" Wolf, 72, of Teutopolis, died at 9:03 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with private burial in Arborcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday evening. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wolf family.
Gene was born February 25, 1939 in York, PA, the son of Milton Sr. and Ethel M. Wolf. He married Ruth Ann Peters on February 11, 1967. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Effingham.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann; son, Bob of Elgin; daughter, Paula (John) Stinde of Dieterich; brother, Milton E. (Corky) Wolf, Jr. of Noel, MO; three sisters, Beatrice Johnson of Olathe, KS, Lillian (Jim) Grunden of Joplin, MO and Marian Stevens of Leewood, KS; nine grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Eugene is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
