Estrella Lynn Portillo-Gutierrez, six day old daughter of Sergio Portillo-Gutierrez and Christina Royse, passed away at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Oakridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of services, Saturday morning at the funeral home.

Along with her parents, Estrella is survived by her adopted grandmother, Kathy Llano; Godparents, Jose and Jennifer Rodriguez; special friends, Crystal Pocrnich, Nicole Hernandez, Shannon Hebert, Raney Guillen and Sharon Byford. Many cousins and friends also survive.

Estrella was preceded in death by her grandma, Robin Abbott; great-grandparents, Stan and Diana Richardson and great-great-grandma, Deloris Richardson.
