Ernest W. Ward, 60, died at 6:22 a.m., Sunday, June 26, 2011 in Brundidge, Alabama.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2011 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. www.bauerfh.com
Ernest was born April 10, 1951 in Effingham, the son of Ernest C. and Mildred E. (Swick) Ward. He was married to Susan Mack of Minnesota.
He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Richards of Bettendorf, Iowa and Sheila Black of Illinois; two brothers, Henry (Mary) Ward of St. Elmo and John Ward of St. Louis, Missouri; sisters, Martha Pulliam of Chapperell, Minnesota, Wilta Rueter of Dixon, Missouri, Barbara Gillespie of Altamont, Linda Dowell of Cowden, Monda of Centralia and Lila of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 37 nieces and nephews; 27 great-nieces and nephews.
Ernest was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jonathan.
