Edna L. Williams, 86 of Effingham, passed away at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham, with visitation being held from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

Edna was born October 7, 1929 in Broomfield, Ohio, the daughter of Harold and Mary Lenore (Scamahorn) Null. She married Donald W. Williams on January 12, 1948 and was a homemaker.

Edna is survived by her husband of 68 years, Donald of Effingham; two sons, Donald Jr. and Marty (Joyce), both of Carpentersville; two daughters, Donna (John) Money and Mary (Steve) Jacob, both of Effingham; brother, Gary (Claudia); two sisters, Juanita (Lew) and Susie (Pat); seventeen grandchildren, Melissa, Becky, Donna Kim, Marty Jr., Scott, Heidi, Hannah, Stephanie, Brittanie, Thomas, Sharla, Amanda, Samantha, Jon, Nick, Andrew and Austin; eight great-grandchildren, Alex, Mia, Lilly, Raechel, Zach, Jackson, Lexie, and Casey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Allen and Larry; and step-granddaughter, Kaylee Jacob.
