Donald C. "Donnie" Hille, 67, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at HSHS St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Saturday morning at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorial donations may be made to Community Support Systems, formerly known as A.R.C. Donnie was born September 12, 1950 in Effingham, the son of George J. and Velma E. (Buchanan) Hille. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham and worked at A.R.C. for many years.

Donnie is survived by his brothers, Robert of Effingham and John "Jack" (Phyllis) of rural Dieterich; nephew, John (Rhianna) of rural Dieterich; great niece and nephews, Tyler, Madison and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
