Dolores Yvonne Wolf, 96 of Effingham, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Dolores was born March 26, 1925 in Effingham, the daughter of Albert Joseph and Bonnilyn Gladys (Gibbons) Stumborg. She married Lester F. Wolf on March 29, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1996. Dolores was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham and was a retired nurse.

Dolores is survived by her granddaughter, Jennifer L. (Jason) Fallert; great-granddaughters, Micaela Chrappa and Alexis Chrappa; bonus great-grandsons, Jack, Carson, and Isaac Fallert; brother, Max Stumborg of Wildwood, FL; nieces and nephews, Virginia Stumborg of Effingham, Jim (Patricia) Cox of Oakbrook, Mary Ann (Bruce) Hecht of Sullivan, Joe (Janet) Cox of Wildwood, FL, Mona (John) Oliver of Wildwood, FL and Michelle (Joe) Brown of Geneva, FL; many great-nieces and nephews.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Maxine Cox; brother, Albert Stumborg; nieces, Kathryn L. (Duane) Jones and Nancy Cameron; nephew, Joe Stumborg and great-nephew, Jason M. Jones.
