Dillon R. Bunton, 22 of Shumway, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at HSHS St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with visitation being held from 5:00 p.m. to time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Louis Children's Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Dillon was born January 7, 1997 in Springfield, the son of William Robert and Pamela (Flick) Bunton of Shumway. He also leaves behind his brother, Dylan Flick and sister, Ashleigh Bunton, both of Shumway; grandmother, Glenda Bunton of Effingham; grandfather, Daniel Flick of Mattoon; nephew, Lincoln Flick of Shumway; uncle and aunt, Jeff and Jennifer Bunton of Shumway.

Dillon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Bunton; great-grandparents, Glen and Virginia Kuhring and William Robert Bunton.
