Denise Lynn Katt, 64 of Effingham, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with visitation being held from 10 am to the time of service. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.

Denise was born October 18, 1959 in Sycamore, the daughter of James and Kathleen (Kirchman) Danuser.

Denise is survived by her sons, David (Trisha), Michael (Nicole), Matthew (Kira), Christopher, and Charles (Ashley), all of Effingham; mother, Kathleen Geen of St. Peter; sisters, Dawn Geen of St. Peter and Darlene (Robert) Clark of Louisville, KY; brother, Mark (Angie) Danuser of Heartville; grandchildren, Alex, Drake, Vincent, Olivia, Sophia, Bastian, Marshall, Wesley, and Eleanor.

Denise was preceded in death by her father and brother, James F. Danuser.
