He was born on July 5, 1962, in Effingham, IL, the son of Clarence & Teresa (Koelsch) Worman, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Paula Worman.

David's journey began on the family farm, where he dedicated himself to the art of dairy farming until 2002. His hardworking spirit was evident to everyone who knew him, as he managed the farm and served the Effingham Schools as a devoted custodian for 20 years.

On October 26, 1991, David married Kathy Deters and she survives. He is also survived by his children & spouses, Angela & Joshua Stumborg and Aaron & Erica Worman; by his grandchildren, Madison Stumborg and Marcus Stumborg; by his siblings Tom Worman, Kenny & Kathy Worman, Diane & George Conder, Judy & Gene Waldhoff, Rita & Dan McKay, Karen & Steve Haskenherm, Frank & Stacey Worman, Janice & Hal Worman, Tina Worman, and Suzie Worman, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A alumni of Dieterich High School, class of 1980, David's education laid the foundation for his life's work and his passion for agriculture. His interests extended beyond the farm, as he was an avid collector of farm tractors, PAG items, and beer signs. David's love for the past was also reflected in his enjoyment of going to auctions and antiquing, a hobby he pursued with enthusiasm and an eye for history.

David's presence was a staple at farm shows and tractor pulls, where he celebrated the industry that had been so integral to his life. His leisurely drives to check out fields were not just a pastime but a reflection of his lifelong connection to the land and the community of farmers he held dear.

The words that best describe David are loving, kind, and gentle. These qualities were evident in every interaction and relationship he cultivated. David's gentle spirit and kind heart were his hallmarks, leaving a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
