David L. Tosh, 68 of Effingham, formerly of the Bloomington/ Normal area, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.

Private family services will be held at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Oakridge Cemetery.

David was born June 19, 1952 in Normal, the son of the late Bud and Margaret (McGuire) Tosh. He married Mary A. Eskew on June 26, 1976. David worked as a welder for General Electric for many years. He enjoyed traveling, watching sports and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

David is survived by his wife, Mary of Effingham; sister-in-law, Becky (Kevin) Price of Effingham; several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

His family would like to give special thanks to Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and HSHS Hospice for their care of David.
