David A. Katt's Obituary
David A. Katt, 55 of Effingham passed away at 3:22 p.m. Tuesday, January 13th at Sara Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday January 17, 2015 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the donors choice.

David was born May 12, 1959 in San Bernardino California, the son of Jerry L. Katt, and Jerry Mae (Thompson) Katt. He married Tammy Brothers on September 3, 1999. David was employed as a salesman for US Foods. He was also a board member and former chairman of the Effingham Senior Center.
David is survived by his father Jerry L. Katt and five sons with first wife Denise Katt: David Jr. (Trisha), Michael (Nicole), Matthew (Kira), Christopher, & Charles (Chelsea) all of Effingham. Three step children with Tammy Katt: Adam Brothers, Ashley Brothers, both of Effingham and Crystal Schoonover of Charleston Illinois. Sisters: Dyanne Bickford of Monticello, IA, Bev Heinze of Dubuque, IA & Jeanette Katt of El Paso, TX. Grandchildren: Drake, Vincent, Sophia, Alexander, Olivia & Bastian. Step Grandchildren: Dylan Brothers, Alexia Brothers, Marie Brothers, Payton Brothers, Destiny Spracklin & Taylor Matlock.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Jerry Mae Katt.
