Darrel L. Hutson, 66 of Glenarm, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 at OSF St. Joseph Hospital in Bloomington.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, May 31, 2024 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to the time of service, Friday at the funeral home.

Darrel was born February 6, 1958 in Effingham, the son of Chester A. and Lena M. Klein. For 17 years, he served with the United States Navy and later worked for the State of Illinois.

Darrel is survived by his mother, Lena of Beecher City; brothers, David A. Hutson of Beecher City and Anthony H. (Monica) Hutson of Altamont; sister, Christina M. Hutson of Spickard, Missouri.

Darrel was preceded in death by his father.
