Daniel E. "Dan" Buehnerkemper, 57, formerly of Teutopolis, passed away Friday morning, July 4, 2014 at his home in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday evening at the church with a 6:30 p.m. parish wake service. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Dan was born October 16, 1956 in Effingham, the son of Clair J. "Tip" and Mildred A. (Meinhart) Buehnerkemper. He attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin and was a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis. Dan was a graduate of Teutopolis High School and was employed for 39 years at World Color Press in Effingham. Presently, he was working for R & R Donnelly's Printing Company in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Dan enjoyed life, whether it was going fishing, playing a round of golf or a long car ride.

Dan is survived by his son, Seth of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Sara (Tyler) Belanger of Maryville; mother, Mildred A. Buehnerkemper of Teutopolis; fiancé, Marla of Wisconsin Dells, WI; brothers, Mike (Joan), Jeff (Darlene), both of Teutopolis, Kurt (Linda) of Effingham, Brad (Elaine) and Tom (Carrie), both of Teutopolis; sister, Elaine (Joe) Siegel of Big Sandy, TN.

Dan was preceded in death by his father and sister-in-law, Gerry.
