Curtis E. "Curt" Anderson, 72, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at his home in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with military rites. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to time of service, Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Crossroads Cancer Center, 905 Medical Park Dr, Effingham, IL 62401 in Effingham or the Gymnastics Academy, 1909 S Banker St # A, Effingham, IL 62401.

Curt was born May 28, 1952 in Austin, Minnesota, the son of Willard and Marcella (Dahlquist) Anderson. He married Victoria "Vicky" Allen on July 3, 1973. Curt enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and rooting for the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.

Curt is survived by his wife, Victoria "Vicky" Anderson; sons, Adam (fiancé, Bethany) Anderson and Zachary (Angelica) Anderson; daughter, Erika Anderson; mother, Marcella Anderson; brothers, William "Sparky" (Marianne) Anderson and Larry (Rita) Anderson; grandchildren, Abby, MacKendra, Aubrie, Cloe, Raulin, Kayden, Michael, Sophia, and Annabelle.

Curt was preceded in death by his father, Willard.
