Connie Joan Stodden's Obituary
Connie Joan Stodden, 72 of Effingham, passed away at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with Pastor David McConnell officiating. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. www.bauerfh.com
Connie was born May 2, 1942 in rural Effingham, the daughter of Herman and Thelma (Kite) Steele. She married James H. Stodden on May 31, 1958 and he survives. Connie was a member of the First Christian Church in Effingham.
Connie is survived by her husband; 3 sons, Rick (Jacque) of Stewardson, Keith (Leesa) of Knoxville and Ron (Diane) of Effingham; 2 daughters, Aileen (Greg) Bonham of Decatur and Gina (Greg) Pullam of Mason; sister, Jackie Kersey of Effingham; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gary and Gene Steele; granddaughter, Hayley Stodden and great-grandson, Dallas Niles.
