Colleen Kay Leppin, 68 of Altamont, passed away at 11:47 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Private family services were held at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Effingham.

Colleen was born February 7, 1953 in Dieterich, the daughter of John Bloemker and Maxine (Ervin) Webb. She married Paul Leppin on December 11, 1971 in Effingham. She loved to spend time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Leppin; daughter, Amanda (Mike) Brummer; son, Russ (Bridgett) Leppin; grandchildren, Kimberly and Justin Brummer and Corin Leppin, all of Altamont; brothers, Tom (Cheryl) Bloemker of Effingham, Chuck (Robin) Webb of Virginia Beach, VA; sister-in-law, Cleone Bloemker of Effingham and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Helen and Edmund Leppin; brother, Rocky Bloemker.
