Colette A. Rickelman, of Effingham passed away at 7:20 a.m., February 15, 2013 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Effingham.
A commital service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Anthony Cemetery in Effingham. Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family with arrangements. www.bauerfh.com

Colette was born June 10, 1926 in Teutopolis, the daughter of Bernard and Marie (Kralman) Huelsing. She married George F. Rickelman on October 19, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham.
Colette is survived by her two sons, Thomas G. (Nan) of Decatur and Gerald K. (Becky) of Effingham; three grandsons, Colin of Decatur, Aaron and Tyler, both of Chesterfield, MO; great-grandson, MacRae of Decatur; brother, Vince (Ginny) of Teutopolis; three sisters, Micki (Mac) McDermott of St. Louis, MO. Clarice (Joe) Grosso of Chicago and Pat (Ken) Donnelly of St. Louis, MO.
Colette is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; two brothers, Harold and Gene.
