Cheryl Hosin, 64, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at her home in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Moccasin Township. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service, Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to her family.

Cheryl was born October 27, 1957 in Decatur, the daughter of Vernon Dale and Jean (Cox) Elam. She worked in the office of Dr. Alzahabi for 22 years and attended Christ Tabernacle Church in Herrick.

Cheryl is survived by her three children, Shady (wife, Terada Fumina) of Japan, Chantal and Shawn, both of Effingham; sister, Cynthia of Effingham and brother, Clifford of Arizona.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Crystal.
