Chase J. Charles-Gallo, 29, of Effingham, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to time of service at the funeral home. Chase was born September 19, 1988 in Effingham, the son of Jeff Gallo and Penny Jo Charles. Chase is survived by his wife, Taylor (Walker) of Effingham; mother, Penny (Pat) Muller of Jewett; Father, Jeff Gallo of Kinmundy; sister, Haleigh Sparling of Jewett; brother, Braden Muller of Jewett; grandparents, Joann Charles of Greenup, Ron (Kay) Charles of St Joseph, Rod (Marcine) Muller of LaFarge, WI, and Cheryl (Nick) Nichols of Toledo; great grandparents, Glenn and Lillian Martin of Woodbury; uncle, Rick Muller of Woodbury; aunts, Jill Charles of Casey, Billie Creek of Champaign, Diana (Bill) Morris of Minooka, Lesa (Todd) Butler of Toledo, Sarah (Shawn) Bannick of Louisville, and Jade Belcher of Effingham along with many cousins.

Chase was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael P. Gallo.
