Charles E. "Chuck" Workman, 73 of Watson, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Watson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left at www.bauerfh.com.

Chuck was born January 7, 1944 in Berea, Ohio, the son of John and Frances (Shouse) Workman. He married Dolores M. Albert on May 16, 1964. Chuck was a long time employee of Petty Printing Company and later for Americana Building Products in Salem.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dolores of Watson; five sons, Rob (special friend, Cathy) of Effingham, Mike (Brenda) of Effingham, John (Chris) of Watson, Jim (Lori) of Altamont and Charlie (Kristin) of Effingham; sister, Wanda Cloud of Tulsa, OK; thirteen grandchildren, Lindsay (Nathan) Niemerg, Lauren, Katelyn, Ashley, Blake (fiance, Jessika), Brock, Drew, Zach, Lance, Mary, Aaron (Bethany), Kobey and Fletcher Workman; six great-grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Charles, Thomas, Remi and Mason.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.
