Cathy Jo Stevens' Obituary
Cathy Jo Stevens, 55, passed away at 9:40 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Parkersburg at a later date. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to time of service, Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Cathy was born January 22, 1959 in Mattoon, the daughter of Byron and Emma Jean (Haga) Sachau. She married Melvin N. Stevens on September 4, 1993 and he survives.
Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Melvin; brother, Gary D. "Buddy" Sachau and sister, Lisa Ann Sachau.
Cathy Jo was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carl and Ronald; sister, Vicki Newby.
