Brian J. Solt, 42 of Beecher city, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at H.S.H.S. St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Brian was born March 13, 1974 in Rockford, the son of Walter Solt and Rita (Clark) Speagle. He married Elizabeth L. Prichard on October 11, 2003 and she survives. Brian served with the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Beecher City; mother, Rita Speagle of Beecher City; grandmother, Marcella Moore of Sullivan; three daughters, Megan Alderson of Rowlette, TX, Nefritiri Solt of Greensburg, IN and Abigail Solt of Beecher City; siblings, Roy Dyer, Theresa Hiselman, Jason (Shannon) Dyer, Monica (Travis) Goeckner and Joleen (Dan) Bulgin; seven nephews, eight nieces, one great-nephew and two great-nieces also survive.
Brian was preceded in death by his father and nephew, Justin Shannon.
